Watermead Holiday Club were thrilled to welcome back Firefighters Kris and Brett from Loughborough Fire and Rescue Station. Kris and Brett brought with them a fire van loaded with equipment. Holiday Club loved sitting in the van learning all about the equipment, how to use the hose and dress in the fire fighters clothing, even Kyla dressed up!

Loughborough Fire and Rescue Station have an open day on Sunday 10th September, they are open to all members of the public with t...he main aim to promote fire safety messages through a range of activities, for both children and adults, to help educate and keep protecting our communities.

These hugely popular days give you an opportunity to meet your local firefighters and see your local station. Activities include: Fire Engines Smoke House Challenge Specialist Appliances and Equipment Rescue and Fire Demonstrations Bouncy Castle Meet the Search and Rescue Dogs Stalls and Games Food/Refreshments and lots more.
