*** Mother's Day ***

*** Mother’s Day Celebrations ***

The sun was shining, what a glorious day it was to celebrate Mother’s Day with our hard working, loving and caring Watermead Mummies. We flung open the bi-folds to enjoy the sunshine and the daffodils.

Our Mummies joined us and we decorated 2 pretty cupcakes, there was a choice of blue, yellow and red butter icing and toppings included silver topping balls, butterflies and flower sprinkles. Some decided to eat the cake immediately as they looked so yummy, others saved it for pudding and some decided to take them home.

The children then helped their mummy make snack wraps. There was a choice of fillings such as cheese, ham, cucumber sticks tomatoes, lettuce, and houmus dip. Some parents decided to take their tea outside and sit on the blankets next to the brook, the children were very excited about having their mummy at Pre-school. Our Watermead children wanted to show the adults around so they went for a walk over the bridge and into the secret garden where they had a play.

We would like to thank all the mummies for joining us for afternoon tea, and special thanks go to Nita and Emma who organised a lovely afternoon.

We hope you enjoyed your time with us.
