*** Star Awards ***
Each year we celebrate the very best of Watermead, asking both our Educators and parents to nominate someone who they feel deserves special recognition for their work.
We had a lovely evening at Longcliffe Golf Club, a three-course meal and a disco until late, there were lots of smiles and celebrations.
As hard-working Educators everyone received a certificate personalised to their strengths. It was then time to announce the winners of the Educators votes. A box of chocolates and a certificate were presented to the following people:
Ayla for being organised, a real team player who delivers with high energy.
Chloe G for being supportive, inspiring and for providing high standards of care.
Emma R for being caring, patient and compassionate.
Paul for his dedication in Watermead sports sessions, delivered with fun and enthusiasm.
Sarah S for creating a climate of love, respect and equality in our Storks room.
Tracey, our chef, for her dedication in cooking nutritious delicious food for our Watermead children.
It was then time for our special Star awards as voted for by parents. The following Educators were presented with a glass star trophy and a certificate:
Category 1 was for the most caring and sensitive practitioner. Razieh was awarded for being patient, kind and passionate in our Ducklings room.
Category 2 was for the most professional and supportive practitioner. Melanie was awarded for being reassuring, warm and professional.
Category 3 was for the practitioner who goes the extra mile. Our Forest School Team were awarded for this category. Sarah C for being highly motivated, energetic and an excellent role model. Josie for being hard working, kind and passionate in her role. Rory for being fun and creating wonderful memories for the children.
Thank you everyone for your nominations, there was a huge response and the awards were very well deserved. Congratulations.
